Mostadam from design to certification
Mostadam assesses developments across categories including site, transport, region and culture, energy, water, health and comfort, and materials and waste, and attaches a rating to a project's sustainability performance. Our role is the same one we play everywhere else: define the target, feed it into the design, keep the documentation and calculations honest, and coordinate the submissions and construction evidence that carry the rating through to the certified result.

What is Mostadam and how does it work?+
Mostadam is the Saudi rating system developed by the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, in line with Vision 2030. It evaluates projects across categories including site, energy, water, health and comfort, and materials and waste, with levels from Green to Diamond.
Is Mostadam mandatory in Saudi Arabia?+
We have not found a published national mandate. The Saudi Building Code, including its energy and sustainability requirements, sets the baseline for public and private construction, and Mostadam goes beyond it. Confirm the requirement for your project with the relevant authority or client.
